/ Approach

Strategy with the
weight of operations.

Five principles that shape every engagement. We do not deliver dashboards in search of a problem. We engage where data, decisions, and accountability already meet.

01

Built alongside operators

We build the systems we wished existed.

Hospitality Data Solutions was founded by operators with deep careers across hotels, restaurants, and commercial strategy. The architecture, models, and interfaces we ship to clients are the ones we needed when we were on the operating side. Operating perspective is the lens that decides what gets built.

02

Built for the whole org chart

The GM trusts the number at 6am.

The VP defends it at the ownership review. The same source of truth has to hold for both, or it gets argued instead of used. We design so one set of numbers survives the trip from the floor to the ownership meeting.

03

Modern data architecture

A platform you will not outgrow.

We build on the cloud data platforms hospitality enterprises are already standardizing on. Clean separation of compute and storage, governance that satisfies legal and IT, and an architecture that compounds in value rather than aging into legacy.

04

Answers, not pilots

Insight you can act on.

We measure success by the decisions our work changes: pricing moves, mix shifts, capital allocation, contract renegotiation. The deliverable is the answer, not the dashboard. Dashboards exist to sustain the answer.

05

Yours to keep

No vendor lock-in.

You own the models, the warehouses, the IP. If you stop working with us, the systems keep running. We are not building moats around your data. We are building leverage from it.

/ Engagement journey

What an engagement looks like.

A typical strategic engagement runs from a focused discovery into a system in production, then into a standing partnership. Any phase can compress or expand to fit the question.

/ Start here

Start with a question, not a platform.

Most engagements open with a two-week diagnostic: one decision, one focused data pull, one readout. If the answer earns the next step, we scope the build from there.

  1. 01

    Week 1

    Discovery

Define the question, the decision in front of you, and the data landscape it lives in.

  2. 02

    Week 2 – 4

    Diagnostic

Audit current systems and surface the gaps between the data you have and the answers you need.

  3. 03

    Week 4 – 10

    Architecture

Design the data layer, system architecture, and the interfaces leadership will use.

  4. 04

    Week 10 – 14

    Build

Implement the systems, integrations, and decision interfaces. Iterate against real users.

  5. 05

    Week 14 – 18

    Activation

Launch with real users, train teams, and drive adoption past pilot into operating practice.

  6. 06

    Week 18 +

    Partnership

Standing advisory, quarterly reviews, and continuous evolution of the systems as the business changes.
